Manchester’s food scene shows no signs of slowing down. From bold new restaurant concepts to neighbourhood gems, the city continues to be one of the UK’s most exciting dining destinations.
At Bookachef, we work closely with chefs and venues across the region, giving us a unique perspective on the kitchens and concepts making waves right now. Here’s our insider’s guide to some of the best new restaurant openings in Manchester.
OCASA, Spinningfields
Opening in early 2025, OCASA is a bold new Mexican-inspired restaurant and bar in the heart of Spinningfields. Its vibrant cocktail menu celebrates premium agave spirits, perfectly paired with indulgent plates such as wagyu tacos and lobster nachos. With a buzzing atmosphere, sleek interiors, and a spacious terrace, OCASA delivers a dining experience that feels both upscale and full of energy.
Bangkok Diners Club, Prestwich
Opening in April 2025, Bangkok Diners Club brings elevated Thai cuisine to Manchester with a fresh twist. The menu blends classic Thai flavours with influences from Isan cookery, offering bold, vibrant dishes that feel both authentic and inventive. Set in a plush dining room above a historic pub, the restaurant reimagines Thai dining in a relaxed yet refined style, making it a standout addition to Manchester’s food scene.
The Cut & Craft, Mosley Street
Opened in 2025, The Cut & Craft is a stylish all-day dining restaurant located on Mosley Street. Housed in a Grade II*-listed former banking hall, the venue offers a menu focused on quality steak and sustainable seafood. The interior combines elegance and glamour, featuring a central marble-topped bar, plush green velvet seating, and a private dining room in the building’s former bank vaults.
Lina Stores, Quay Street
Another 2025 opening, Lina Stores is an Italian restaurant and delicatessen located on Quay Street, opposite the Opera House. This marks the brand's first regional opening outside of London. The venue offers an all-day dining experience with a menu centered around fresh, handmade pasta, antipasti, secondi, and dolci. The interior is cosy and inviting.
